Mr. Schloemer joined Cargill in 2020 and is responsible for setting the strategic direction, monitoring benefit plan performance and managing vendors for Cargill’s U.S. and Canada Health and Welfare plans.  Mr. Schloemer and his team partner closely with operations to ensure the benefits and vendors support the needs of Cargill’s 50,000 North American employees and their families. With nearly 30 years of strategic benefits experience, Jon’s favorite role continues to be learning from the employees and those that support them. Previously Mr. Schloemer served as Vice President HR Shared Services for Fleet Farm, where he was charged with setting the direction for Fleet Farm's corporate benefits while leading a team of professionals that administered the day-to-day functions. He remains active in industry groups and advisory councils to share experience, knowledge and insight while constantly learning.
