Julie Gehrki serves as Vice President of Programs for the Walmart.org. In this role, Julie leads philanthropic investments for Walmart and the Walmart Foundation and helps shape shared value strategies for the company. Walmart.org invests in global Initiatives focused on Sustainability for people and planet throughout the supply chain, including work on preserving nature, building a circular economy, and enhancing livelihoods of people in supply chains; Opportunity, including work on economic mobility for frontline workers and diversifying talent pipelines; Community, which includes hunger relief and nutrition, disaster relief and efforts to engage associates and customers to make positive change in communities where they live and work; and the work of the Center for Racial Equity, which includes efforts to extend the impact of Walmart’s Shared Value Networks (finance, health, criminal justice and education).
