Jun Tan was an associate economist at The Conference Board and mainly works on business cycle research and US and global GDP forecast. She was responsible for production and analysis of The Conference Board Leading Economic Index® (LEI)  for China and India, dissemination of monthly Economic Views and Business Cycle Indictor Monthly Report.

Tan holds MA in economics with certificate of Economic Forecasting from University at Albany - State University of New York, and she also holds BA in business from South Central University for Nationalities in Wuhan, China.
