Justin Land is the global citizenship program manager at Dow, leading philanthropic efforts to address community-identified needs, including disaster resiliency and response, while advancing equitable opportunities in the 100 communities across 31 countries where Dow operates.  

Since joining Dow’s global citizenship team in 2017, Justin has managed a global portfolio of strategic nonprofit partnerships, guided philanthropic responses to disasters and complex humanitarian events, and worked closely on diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. He has worked to enable a culture where all employees can lead and engage to create meaningful impact. Justin spearheaded the development of Dow’s industry-leading Global Employee Volunteerism and ERG Participation Policy, launched an equitable employee relief fund, and leadsworkplace giving programs that raise $3.4MM annually.  

Justin joined Dow in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2012 and has held a variety of positions and international assignments spanning geographic public affairs, business communications, and corporate social responsibility.  

Prior to Dow, Justin worked for NYC Emergency Management for three years as a senior community outreach coordinator as well as co-chair of the NYC Citizen Corps Council, a nationally recognized network of non-profits, government organizations, and cultural and faith-based institutions focused on grassroots emergency preparedness and volunteerism. 

With a commitment to service, Justin serves on the Greater Philadelphia Corporate Volunteer Network, is a past chair of Keep Philadelphia Beautiful, and a graduate of Leadership Philadelphia. He spent three years as a Peace Corps volunteer in Dakar, Senegal where he assisted hospitals in the development of health-based urban agriculture projects. In addition, in 2005 during the nationwide response to Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, he served with the American Red Cross in Atlanta, Georgia. 

Justin holds a B.A. in international affairs from the University of Georgia.
