Kady Sylla serves as Director for Africa and the Middle East at Myriad USA, a global philanthropic institution that facilitates cross-border giving and provides donors with a simple and efficient platform to support nonprofit initiatives anywhere across the globe. In her role, Kady collaborates closely with donors contributing to social impact in Africa and the Middle East through philanthropy.

She also oversees Myriad USA's fiscal sponsorship services for and partnerships with locally-led nonprofits in these regions, as well as philanthropic organizations and diaspora networks.  

She has extensive experience in global philanthropy and international development. Her previous roles include positions at the Open Society Foundations (OSF), USAID, the UK's Department for International Development (DFID), as well as in private and public foundations. She also serves on the boards of NEID Global, a donor peer-learning network actively involved in working with, learning from, and supporting grantees worldwide, and MindLeaps Global, a nonprofit that creates educational paths for at-risk children, youths, and refugees through creative arts and vocational training.

Kady holds a master’s degree from the University of Sussex’s Institute of Development Studies in the UK and a bachelor’s degree in Humanities and Justice from CUNY’s John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
