Karen Clark is a Human Resources professional whose passion is to help others. In her role as the Benefits & Wellness Manager at Confie, she is responsible for managing the company’s benefit plans, creating a comprehensive wellness strategy and programs, and leading the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives as well as the committee. In her role, she also oversees the employee recognition program and serves as an integral member who supports and furthers the company’s community engagement and charitable giving partnerships. Prior to Confie, Karen had spent most of her early career working for technology companies, Broadcom and Western Digital, where her role also involved equity and compensation.

In addition to her career at Confie, Karen enjoys volunteering. She is a 13-year member of the international service organization – Alpha Kappa Alpha, Sorority, Inc. in which she has held various leadership positions within her local chapter, most recently, Assistant Secretary. Ultimately, she seeks to embody the organization’s mission to be of “Service to All Mankind.”

Karen is also a published children’s book author. Her book, I Can Be Anything! What About You?, was written for her children in hopes that, as they grow, they know that their wildest dreams, hopes, and desires are possible. It has been heart-warming and rewarding for Karen to learn of the positive impact her book has had on many other children.

Karen holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of California, Riverside as well as an MBA from Concordia University, Irvine. Most recently, she earned a Certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from Cornell University in May 2023. She also serves as an Associate Board Member for the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation.
