Karen May

As an Executive Partner for Executive Coaching Connections, Karen works closely with C-Suite leaders providing coach and mentor support that leverages her extensive expertise leading large, global, human resources organizations. She also serves as a Board Director for both Ace Hardware Corporation and for Alcon Inc. In addition to her Executive Partner work, Karen is a proven business leader with over 35 years’ experience in the consumer products and healthcare industries. Over her 13 years as EVP and CHRO at both Mondelez International and Kraft Foods Inc., she led the successful human capital integration of several large acquisitions including integrating over 30,000 new employees into the company; restructuring the new, combined business in 165 countries; and, leading global change management to ensure efficient and effective ways of working across operations in all countries and regions. Karen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from the University of Illinois and, for 10 years, was a licensed Certified Public Accountant. For over 15 years, Karen has been a guest lecturer at Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management, where she speaks on leadership topics.
