Karl Mahler

Karl Mahler is a seasoned healthcare executive with over 30 years of experience spanning a broad spectrum of functions in Finance and Business, including Head of Investor Relations of Hoffmann- La-Roche, Basel, Head of Corporate Planning at Roche, Member of the Investment Committee of the Roche Swiss Pension Fund and Member of the Corporate Executive ESG Committee.

During his tenure at Novartis, Aventis and Roche, Karl was founding Germany’s largest Cancer Research Clinic in Freiburg i. Brsg (Tumor Biology Center) and running two Joint Ventures in China as General Manager.

Karl was rewarded for his Investor oriented focus, his reliable and transparent communications with the market with 26 number 1 rankings by the buy and sell side by Extel and Institutional Investor Surveys in 20 years. He was highlighted in the IR magazine as one of the top 30 in the past 30 years, and recently elected as the first member in the Hall of Fame of Global Executives in the Financial Industry by Institutional Investor.

Karl received his PhD in Economics from the University of Freiburg, the Institute of Mathematical Economics.
