Kate Barrett is President of The Campbell’s Foundation and Director of Community Affairs at The Campbell’s Company. In her role, she is responsible for setting the strategy and direction of Campbell’s community affairs and foundation work, including philanthropy, employee volunteerism and giving, and disaster relief. Campbell’s community work focuses on the communities where Campbell has operations across North America. Kate oversees the growth and expansion of the company’s signature program, Full Futures, which aims to advance school nutrition through cross-sector community partnerships. Kate is passionate about the intersection between the private and social sectors, and the role that companies can play in impacting social change while driving business strategy. Prior to joining Campbell in June 2017, Kate was a program director at The Center for High Impact Philanthropy, and before that, she spent many years working in the private sector for a variety of companies, including as a consultant with the global management consulting firm McKinsey & Company. Kate received her MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and her bachelor’s degree from Brown University. She lives in Philadelphia with her husband and two children.
