Ken Thompson

As an industry-leading expert in organization design, operational efficiency and accountability-driven leadership, Ken Thompson works with executive teams to help them win in a highly competitive marketplace. He guides Fortune 500 leaders through the process of creating a design framework – including strategy, organization redesign and alignment, realization and implementation, and change management – that delivers results. Ken has held board and C-level positions at the U.S. Department of Defense and at logistics, supply chain, apparel design and manufacturing organizations. As a Principal Partner at AlignOrg Solutions, he has led multiple successful strategic organization transformation initiatives with Google, Medtronic, Chick-fil-A, GE, Danaher, SABIC-ARAMCO, FedEx, Citrix, Rockwell Automation, Align Technologies, ServiceNow, Adobe and other global industry leaders. Ken is Six Sigma certified and holds an MBA with an emphasis in organization design. He regularly presents at national industry conferences and serves as a guest speaker at Utah State University’s Jon M. Huntsman School of Business. He is also a member of The Stephen R. Covey Leadership Center Founders’ Board as well as an executive board member and contributor to Fast Company magazine.
