Kevin Charlton has been the Co-Chairman of NewHold Enterprises LLC since 2017 and has spent more than 20 years in private equity. He has served on more than 25 Boards of Directors in all relevant roles, in most cases as Chairman or Lead Director on behalf of the majority owner.  He has served on six public Boards, and was on the Board of Spirit Realty until its sale in January 2024.  At Evolv he serves as the Chairperson of the Compensation Committee as well as the Investment Committee. Prior to NewHold Enterprises, Mr. Charlton spent his private equity career at JPMorgan (NYSE: JPM), Investcorp, and Macquarie (ASX: MQG). Before his career in private equity, Mr. Charlton was with McKinsey and Company in New York and NASA Headquarters in Washington, DC.  In addition to Evolv, Mr. Charlton is on the Board of American AllWaste, an environmental services company with operations in Tennessee and Texas.  Mr. Charlton received his Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering cum laude from Princeton University in 1988, his Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering with Distinction from the University of Michigan in 1990, and his Master of Business Administration with Honors from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University in 1995.
