ESG Center Fellow
Kevin Callahan is an ESG Fellow at The Conference Board
He was, until his recent retirement, Vice President of Enterprise Social Responsibility and Strategic Philanthropy at The Walt Disney Company, where he also served as Vice President of The Walt Disney Company Foundation. In these roles, he was responsible for global charitable giving, cause marketing, employee volunteerism and employee giving programs. During his tenure, he oversaw a significant increase in worldwide charitable giving, an expansion of employee engagement initiatives and new CSR strategies to address global and local needs.
Prior to this role, Kevin served as Vice President, External Affairs at Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, where he led community affairs, government affairs, and industry relations, creating new approaches to reputation management and stakeholder engagement for the global Parks and Resorts division.
Prior to his career at Disney, Kevin served as Director, Corporate Citizenship at Abbott, where he managed corporate citizenship programs, issues management, citizenship reporting, and governance and led stakeholder and shareholder engagement efforts on HIV/AIDS, access to medicines, and related topics. He also served in a global role as Director, Corporate Social Responsibility at Altria.
Kevin has served in non-profit roles at the Pan American Development Foundation and as Executive Director of the Spain-US Chamber of Commerce.
Kevin holds an MBA from IESE Business School and a BA in Political Economy from the University of Toronto.
