Khemari Cook joined Red Ventures in 2018 as a Director of Paid Media, leading emerging channels in our Financial Services, Health, and R&D businesses. Following her passion for supporting people, Khemari played a key role in forming RV’s Diversity Equity & Inclusion team in 2020, serving as Vice President of Education & Inclusion before becoming Chief Diversity Officer in 2021.

In her current role, Khemari’s key focus is to broadly educate the organization on systems that have marginalized people based on race, sexual orientation, gender, or other identity factors and lay the foundation to reduce the prevalence or replication of those systems at Red Ventures as well as in the communities we serve — achieved by becoming more aware of them and our role in supporting them. Her background in building brands, business strategy, and communications uniquely arm her with the tools to support the development and expansion of RV Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) while aligning their strategies with Red Ventures’ business objectives.

Prior to joining RV, Khemari was the head of Brand Advertising at a financial technology company. She is a proud graduate of Clark Atlanta University and holds a Master’s of Mass Communication from the University of South Carolina as well an MBA from Augusta University. She currently resides in Charlotte, NC, with her wife and son.
