Kyle Longton serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Vice President of the American Foreign Service Protective Association (AFSPA). In this role, he provides strategic direction and executive leadership to all of AFSPA’s programs including the Foreign Service Benefit Plan, AFSPA’s health plan administered under contract with the U.S. Office of Personnel Management. The plan provides coverage to more than 100,000 members around the world. Kyle also serves as the Executive Director of the Senior Living Foundation (SLF) of the American Foreign Service. In this role, he facilitates educational opportunities and manages more than $600,000 each year in grants to elderly members of the Foreign Service community with demonstrated needs. Kyle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from Centre College of Kentucky and a Master of International Affairs degree from George Washington University. He is a Certified Association Executive (CAE), as designated by the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), and a Registered Employee Benefits Consultant (REBC), as designated by the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals (NABIP). The Foreign Service Institute has recognized Kyle for his expertise in Federal health benefits and Medicare.
