Laura Broughton

Laura Broughton is the Program Director for the Change & Transformation Council as of January 1, 2025, following extensive involvement with The Conference Board for six years; she is also a Strategic Capabilities Leader at Mars, Incorporated.

Laura brings a breadth of experience to The Conference Board leading change, transformation, and organizational effectiveness roles in private and public organizations. As a thought leader and trusted advisor, Laura has been recognized for driving large-scale transformations to deliver on strategic objectives. Her career has been a journey turning challenges into meaningful change.

Laura has nearly 20 years of experience as a leader and subject matter expert focused at the intersection of people, strategy, and technology. She has partnered with executives across multiple industries (consulting, banking, healthcare, CPG) to architect strategic changes to enhance organizational culture and drive business outcomes. She worked with cross-functional teams to elevate organizational change capability, including establishing a Fortune 500 company’s first Chief Transformation Office. 

She holds a BS degree in economics & international business from the University of Maryland.
