Laurie Mitchell is responsible for the design, delivery and management of wellbeing initiatives that support Unum's 10,000 employees and their families in the U.S., U.K. and Ireland. This includes the integration of innovative and targeted programs, policies and environmental strategies that support health inside and outside the workplace. She partners with business leaders to identify strategies to address workforce health and productivity concerns – for both Unum employees and Unum clients.  Strategic priorities include the use of digital and virtual solutions to improve accessibility and affordability to effectively engage employees in high value programs, and healthcare services proven to enhance health and wellbeing. Prior to joining Unum, Laurie held similar positions at MaineHealth-an integrated healthcare delivery system in Maine, Public Service Enterprise Group-an energy company in NJ and Beth Israel Medical Center in NYC.
