Liat Krawczyk is a Vice President at the NYC Economic Development Corporation where she heads the Economic Mobility pillar and Childcare Innovation Lab. The Lab leads research on childcare as economic infrastructure and catalyzes public and private sector innovations that pave a more accessible and equitable future of care. Liat holds over a dozen years of economic development experience focused on cultivating entrepreneurial ecosystems and diverse talent pipelines in emerging industries (cybersecurity, Fam/FemTech, impact tech, PropTech/FinTech) for and by overlooked markets and communities. Liat is also co-founder of The Jeneba Project, a nonprofit that runs an excellence high school for girls in Sierra Leone and the director of several documentary films.
