Lonnie Scarborough is a career leader who has 31 years of banking experience in community, regional, and super regional banks. In 2007, he joined Origin Bank as Executive Vice President and Chief Retail Banking Officer. After thriving in this role for over 11 years, Lonnie moved into Human Resources in the spring of 2019 and took on the role of Chief Dream Manager and Talent Development Officer. This new position allows him to lead the bank’s Training & Development area along with leadership development programs, employee engagement, and career coaching and planning. Lonnie’s specialties are coaching, counseling, mentoring, and motivating employees to become the “best version of themselves”. Priorities in life are important, and Lonnie’s are his faith, his family, and his work. He has been married for 30 years to Ginger, has two sons (Lucas (26) and wife Taylor, and Graham, 22) and is an ordained Minister of the Gospel of Christ. He holds a 1st degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and is currently learning the Spanish language. Lonnie graduated from the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking in June 2018 and has been a Stonier Capstone mentor for five years.
