Lori Costew

Lori Costew is the Chief Diversity Officer and Director of People Strategy at Ford Motor Company. Her portfolio focuses on the company’s diversity, equity and inclusion efforts to cultivate an environment where all employees feel a sense of belonging. For nearly three decades Lori has used her expertise across Ford, influencing company priorities like the UAW negotiations, Equal Employment planning, organizational development, and human resources for the Lincoln Motor Company and the mobility division. Currently, the most important priority for Lori and her team is to remove barriers and foster understanding for employees, with the goal of harnessing the best talent to move the world’s most trusted brand into the future. She is also an accomplished author. She wrote “Sherpa’s Adventure Series,” novels that provide inspiration and tools against bullying. Lori lives in Northville, Michigan. She has a master’s degree in human resources from The Ohio State University and a certification in executive coaching by the Hudson Institute.
