She also chairs the firm’s Executive and Compensation committees. She was previously co-managing partner of Seyfarth’s New York office, which grew exponentially during her tenure. Lorie drives the Firm’s client-centric innovation efforts, ensuring that Seyfarth remains one of the nation’s most innovative law firms.

As a practicing lawyer, Lorie is a highly regarded leader in the field of complex employment law matters, including high-stakes investigations and proceedings. She focuses on litigation involving employers’ most challenging disputes. Lorie serves as lead counsel in high-profile disputes, class and collective actions, and FINRA arbitrations, chairing teams of attorneys across the country.

Lorie has been widely recognized by her peers as a leader in her field. She has been named as a top attorney by The American Lawyer (ALM Global LLC), The National Law Journal (ALM Global LLC), and the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD). Chambers USA and Legal 500 (Legalese Ltd.) have repeatedly identified Lorie as a leading lawyer for labor and employment.

She has been selected as a BTI Client Services All-Star and as one of Crain’s New York Business "Notable Women in Law" (Crain Communications, Inc.). Lorie was named by Lawdragon as one of the "500 Leading Lawyers in America" for 2024-2025, marking the 10th straight year where her work as an attorney was recognized by the publication.

Lorie gained a reputation as a standout lawyer from the early part of her career, including The American Lawyer’s top "45 Under 45" women lawyers in The Am Law 200 (ALM Global LLC), the NACD’s “Directorship 100”, and The National Law Journal’s “40 Under 40” lawyers (ALM Global LLC). In her first full year of practice, Lorie was also honored as "Legal Rookie of the Year" by the City of New York, for which she litigated significant constitutional and federal questions.

Lorie is a longstanding member of the board of directors of Jumpstart, one of the nation's most respected nonprofit organizations focused on early childhood education.
