Lydia has nearly 30 years of working experience with multinational companies and has profound understandings of international business norms and the local business environment in China. Before her retirement in 2020, Lydia was the Vice President of Communications of Honeywell in Asia. During her twelve years of outstanding service in Honeywell, she was responsible for driving internal and external communication strategies and managing Honeywell's branding and Corporate Social Responsibility programs.
Among her numerous achievements were the buildout of an Asia Communications organization with highly talented people, the establishment of robust employee communication and social media channels to foster engagement and brand positioning, the construction of the Honeywell Technology Experience Center in Shanghai, and the implementation of meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility programs, including the ongoing relationship with the two schools that Honeywell built in the Sichuan province.
Prior to her service to Honeywell, she was the Corporate Communications Director for Corning Greater China, responsible for all aspects of corporate communications and branding. Before that, Lydia was the Marketing Manager and Senior Business Development Manager for AT&T China.
Now residing in Shanghai with her family, Lydia has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Beijing International Studies University and an EMBA from China Europe International Business School (CEIBS). She also serves as interviewer for CEIBS’ global EMBA program and the president of CEIBS Alumni Drama Club.
