Mark’s global leadership experience spans more than two decades and has focused on executive advisory services, strategy development, and business operations. He’s an expert working with organizations to drive growth, optimize processes, and build high performing teams. Mark is known for bringing a unique combination of business strategy, P&L leadership, client management, health and human capital expertise — all of which make him a seasoned leader for and advisor to high growth organizations. Throughout his career, Mark has been a leading authority on a broad range of business and human capital issues. Prior to joining PHM, Mark was Chief Partnerships Officer at Humu, the internet startup founded by Laszlo Bock, former SVP of People Operations at Google. Before Humu, Mark spent 27 years at Aon where he held several global leadership positions and was a member of the Aon Hewitt Executive Committee. Mark’s other key leadership roles at Aon included Global Managing Partner, Aon Strategic Advisory Practice (M&A, Change Management and HR Strategy), Business Effectiveness Leader for Aon’s Healthcare Exchange Business and Senior Vice President of Business Integration—Office of the CEO. Mark is in demand as a featured speaker, including organizations like the Conference Board, WorldatWork and other conferences. He periodically guest lectures at UCLA’s Executive Education Programs and has published numerous articles, including in Corporate Board Journal, HR Planning and HR Executive. Mark earned an MBA from UCLA’s Anderson Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UC Irvine. He also completed Aon’s Executive Education Program at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
