Matt Ranen

Matt Ranen is the Program Director for the Strategy Executives Council at The Conference Board. In this role, he works closely with senior leaders at many of the world’s leading companies to develop and nurture peer networks and build connections to relevant research and insights.

Ranen currently runs his own consulting practice in scenario planning and strategy, helping clients develop growth, innovation, and risk management strategies as their industries face significant change and uncertainty. Prior to this, he was a senior leader at Global Business Network (GBN), the world’s premiere futures and scenario planning consultancy, a part of the Monitor Group strategy consulting firm, and later, part of Deloitte Consulting. Before that, he spent 11 years in new product development in the media, advertising, and technology sectors.

Matt holds an MBA from the Northwestern Kellogg School of Management and a BA in applied math from Harvard University.
