Mr. Fritts has more than 20 years of experience in the fields of health promotion, disease prevention, clinical research, and public and population health. After completing a prestigious Presidential Management Fellowship at the National Institutes of Health, he worked within the National Cancer Institute’s Behavioral Research Program and at a non-profit clinical research organization focused on exploring the science of healing. In 2018 he returned to his alma mater to develop, manage, and evaluate the effectiveness of programs to support psychological well-being among the University of Virginia’s 30,000+ faculty, clinicians, and staff.

Mr. Fritts holds certifications as a Project Management Professional and as an experienced yoga teacher (E-RYT 500), and he has been teaching yoga and meditation for 25 years. He serves on the Board of Directors for two non-profit organizations dedicated to bringing contemplative practices into the contemporary world in accessible and relevant ways, to increase individual and societal flourishing.
