The following is a biography of former employee/consultant

Meg Gottemoeller is a former Senior Fellow, Human Capital at The Conference Board. In this role, Meg supported the Human Capital Practice which includes The Conference Board Human Capital Exchange™, research, conferences, webcasts and programs in a broad spectrum of human capital areas.

Gottemoeller is the former Executive Director for Member Engagement in the human capital area at The Conference Board. In this role, she oversaw more than 40 major conferences and programs and 28 councils of senior executives in a range of human capital functions.

From 2006 to 2008, she was the founding director of The Conference Board China Center for Economics and Business in Beijing, where she worked closely with founding member companies and established the China CEO Council. She also developed forums and exchanges between The Conference Board and research partners at China’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC), Peoples’ Bank of China, and other organizations.

Gottemoeller joined The Conference Board in 2004 as director of Asia-Pacific programs. In this role, she developed conferences and councils across the region in the areas of human resources, learning and development, talent management, finance, corporate communications and marketing.

Before The Conference Board, she managed her own consulting firm, which focused on strategic management and leadership development in the global financial services industry and emerging markets. Gottemoeller has a doctorate in human and organizational learning from The George Washington University, an MS in Communications from Temple University, and her AB with honors from The University of Michigan, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
