Megan Bourque is Senior Vice President, Head of Benefits at Fidelity Investments.  In this role, Megan leads the team to define and continually reimagine a competitive benefits strategy that meets the needs of associates and their loved ones, today and in the future.  She oversees the strategy and execution of a comprehensive portfolio of benefits across the domains of health & welfare, retirement, financial, and work/life benefits, as well as the benefits engagement and governance function.

Prior to joining the HR function, Megan was a Vice President in the Fidelity Workplace Consulting group, focused on health & welfare benefits consulting.  In this role, Megan worked with large clients on the development and execution of benefit strategies and had responsibility for the ongoing management of large client relationships.  Her experience includes a broad range of consulting activities including strategy and design; vendor management and procurement; employee communication and behavior change; health and wellness program design; and merger and acquisition support.

Before coming to Fidelity, Megan was Director of Benefits, Health & Welfare Strategy at CVS Health.  In this role, Megan was responsible for the overall design and strategy of a financially efficient and effective benefits package that fit the needs of a large, diverse colleague population, supported overall engagement and personal accountability, drove innovation, and served as a barometer for the company’s purpose of helping people on the path to better health.  

Megan started her career in Aon Hewitt’s Health & Benefits consulting practice, where she spent 12 years leading relationships and supporting large clients on all aspects of their health care benefits strategy.  

Megan holds a B.A. in Government and Bioethics from the University of Virginia and lives in Needham, Massachusetts with her husband and their four children.
