Melissa Holthaus is the Vice President Total Rewards and Operations at H&R Block. In her role, Melissa is responsible for designing the company’s total rewards programs to align to strategic objectives, enhance the overall employee experience, and position H&R Block as an employer of choice. Holthaus brings a diverse portfolio of HR expertise, with over fifteen years in total rewards roles. In each role she has focused on innovative solutions, optimizing technology and engaging communications.  She has been with H&R Block for six years and prior to joining H&R Block, was the Director, Compensation and Benefits for CommunityAmerica Credit Union, one of the nation’s largest credit unions.

Holthaus is a certified compensation professional (CCP) and holds a Bachelors from the University of Missouri - Columbia.
