Michael Duquette Fowler is the CEO of PivotPoint Strategies. Prior to this role, he was the Vice President and Business Unit CIO for Florida Power & Light (FPL). He joined NextEra Energy in November 2010, where he held various roles including VP of IT for NextEra Energy Resources supporting their deregulated affiliates and most recently as the VP and Business Unit CIO for FPL.

Prior to joining NextEra Energy, Mr. Fowler was VP of IT, Global Commodities Group at Constellation Energy.

With an unwavering passion for people, Mr. Fowler has been a driving force behind numerous corporate Employee Resource Groups during his tenure at NextEra and Constellation, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with his concentration in Computer Information Systems from Johns Hopkins University.

Early in his career, Mr. Fowler was recognized by ComputerWorld Magazine as one of the top 40 Innovative IT People to Watch Under the Age of 40. He was also awarded the Information Week Top Innovator Award and the Microsoft Pinnacle Award for Customer Service.

Mr. Fowler currently sits on the Board for the Technology Advisory Committee for the Palm Beach County School Board. Mr. Fowler is also the Former Board Chair for the South Florida Tech Hub, a regional trade association. South Florida Tech Hub promotes industry growth by working with educational institutions, government entities, and business groups to support the goals of member companies.Mr. Fowler is a Board member at large for the Palm Beach County Human Rights Council (PBCHRC).

In his free time, Mr. Fowler has a love for off-the-beaten-path travel where he enjoys experiencing different cultures and cuisines. And as an avid amateur photographer and social media fan, he captures it all with pictures and videos.
