Michael currently serves as Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel of Verizon Communications Inc., where he leads Verizon's legal team responsible for the Company's worldwide strategic and capital markets transactions including its mergers & acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, venture capital, financing and other strategic transactions. Prior to his role at Verizon Michael practiced as a corporate attorney at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz where he provided counsel to public and private companies in multiples industries on a broad range of matters including M&A, corporate governance, shareholder communications, shareholder activist situations, employee matters, deal litigation, securities laws and compliance matters.
