Michele Browne is an accomplished C-suite leader with a background in the global financial services industry. She is an operational leader with an expertise in brand building and driving sustainable growth, with a history of helping global businesses in transition – during merger integrations, “buy versus build” decisions, leadership transitions and times of rapid growth.  Michele’s career in financial services began at Citigroup and JP Morgan where she was responsible for some of the largest investment management relationships in both New York and Singapore. She later joined Jarislowsky Fraser Limited where she led, developed, and executed the US Institutional market strategy for the Canadian asset manager.

Currently, Michele is a Senior Advisor at Chestnut Advisory Group, a boutique management consulting firm specializing in providing growth strategy advice to the asset management industry. In addition to the advisory work, Michele is also the Executive Director of the Chestnut Solutions Institute, an independent research-based think tank dedicated to the growth of the investment solutions and Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) industry.

Michele received an MBA from Harvard Business School and holds a BA in International Relations from Brown University. She currently sits on the Advisory Board for NYU Stern School of Business – the Center for Business and Human Rights.
