Michele Harris is Manager of Work Life Services for Wellstar Health System. Headquartered in Marietta, Georgia, the system has 24,000+ team members who care for patients in 11 hospitals, five health parks, and 300+ medical offices across nine counties. With 12 years of experience in HR and Work Life, Michele oversees 15 programs that help make Wellstar a great place to work; the system has been named to Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For list and been consistently recognized by Working Mother as a top company for moms, dads, and multicultural women. In 2021, Michele led the migration to a new EAP program, planning and implementing systemwide logistics, education, and communications. She also led the transition to a more accessible, robust concierge service. Michele oversees Wellstar’s two onsite child care centers and has implemented innovative crisis care/virtual learning benefits for Wellstar families during the pandemic. She also manages Wellstar’s reward and recognition programs. Her favorite job: being mom to Wesley, 7, and Reynolds, 5.
