Miguel Padró is Assistant Director at the Aspen Institute Business & Society Program. He joined the Business & Society Program in 2011 after working in business for 10 years. Miguel has led a wide-ranging portfolio covering topics such as short-termism in business and capital markets, corporate purpose, executive compensation, worker voice, inclusive management practice, and evolving business education. He founded and currently leads the Idea Lab on Worker Voice in Corporate Governance, and he is developing a new project focused on corporations and democracy. Miguel was recognized as a 2016 Rising Star in Corporate Governance by the Millstein Center for Global Markets and Corporate Ownership at Columbia Law School. He has a master’s degree in international relations from City University of New York.
