Neil is a managing director in the activism and shareholder advisory practice within the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Group. He joined Goldman Sachs in 2016 as a vice president in the M&A Group and was named managing director in 2021.

Prior to joining the firm, Neil worked at Barclays in the Industrials Group within the Investment Banking division. Prior to entering investment banking, Neil was a management consultant.

Neil earned a BA in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania in 2006, an MSc in Global Governance and Diplomacy from the University of Oxford in 2010 and an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2012.
