Pamela Wagoner

Pamela Kaufman Wagoner is a Program Director at The Conference Board. In addition, she is President of Upstream Insights, LLC, a consultancy focused on helping individuals reach their leadership potential. She started this consulting practice after thirty years of leading global human resources, training, and employee communications in public and private companies.

Prior to starting her own consulting company, Pamela was the Chief Human Resources Officer for W. R. Grace & Co (Grace). Pamela was also responsible for Corporate Communications and was Chairman of the W. R. Grace Foundation, Inc. Before taking her position at Grace, Pamela was with Host Hotels & Resorts, Inc. (Host), a Fortune 500 real estate investment trust and owner of upscale hotels. She was the Executive Officer responsible for Human Resources and Employee Communications and cared for the culture of the organization.

Pamela also held senior HR positions at SAVVIS Communications, Yurie Systems, Inc., and Lucent Technologies, Inc. Prior to these positions, she spent eight years working in HR and vocational rehabilitation with at-risk youth and individuals with special needs and three years in State Government in Pennsylvania.

Pamela currently serves on the Advisory Board for The Office of Executive Programs for the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland and is on the Board of Trustees of the Howard Hospital Foundation (a Johns Hopkins Hospital) and serves as the Secretary on the Executive Committee of the Howard Hospital Foundation.
