Edward Jones Principal Patrick Chanod is Head of Well-being, responsible for the well-being strategy and center of excellence, which delivers resources to our over 54,000 associates in the home office and field across all five pillars of well-being: mental, emotional, physical, financial, and social.

Patrick joined Edward Jones in 2005 as a financial advisor and opened a branch office in Middletown, N.J. In addition to serving local investors, he helped other financial advisors in his region by serving as a new financial advisor support specialist, recruiting leader, and performance leader. He served as a regional leader for two years, guiding 100 branch teams throughout north and central New Jersey and as a liaison between the field and home office.

As a financial advisor, Patrick contributed to the firm’s strategic priorities by completing several asset-sharing plans and significantly expanding the firm’s presence in New Jersey.

In 2018, he was named an Edward Jones principal and relocated to the firm’s St. Louis headquarters to lead Area 11 of Branch and Region Development. In this role, he worked with branch teams throughout Ohio, West Virginia, northeastern Kentucky, western Pennsylvania, and western Maryland to develop regional leaders to accelerate leadership diversity, readiness, depth, and capability while growing the number of financial advisors. He also guided four area leaders who oversaw Michigan, Tennessee, and Alabama markets and the surrounding geography. In 2020, Patrick moved into the Firm’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts, building sustainable strategies for meaningful results over time across the Enterprise.

Patrick is a native of Staten Island, N.Y. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Pace University in New York and an MBA from Western Governors University. He is an Eagle Scout and worked in the financial services industry before joining Edward Jones. He and his wife, Michelle, have three daughters: Olivia, Ella, and Lia. Patrick competes internationally in the sport of CrossFit.
