Peter G. Peterson is Chairman and co-founder of The Blackstone Group. He is also Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Chairman of the Council on Foreign Relations, founding Chairman of the Institute for International Economics (Washington), and founding President of The Concord Coalition.

Mr. Peterson is Co-Chairman of The Conference Board Commission on Public Trust and Private Enterprise (co-chaired with John Snow, currently the U.S. Secretary of the Treasury).

Mr. Peterson is the author of several books, including Gray Dawn: How the Coming Age Wave Will Transform America—and the World and Will America Grow Up Before It Grows Old?
