Philip Russell

Phil Russell is the Council Director for the Environment Strategy Council at The Conference Board. Phil has 30 years of demonstrated history leading programmes, and driving improvement in, Environment, Sustainability and HSE. His experience is gained from having applied his specialist skills in the regulatory, consulting and private sector. Phil has particular knowledge in aspects such as environmental liability management, developing corporate sustainability strategies and building or executing HSE transformation plans for multinational organisations.

Formerly leading Environment & Sustainable Operations in a multi-national agrochemical company Phil has developed a specialist knowledge on driving sustainable change in the agrochemical industry. Within his current role Phil is the AgChem Industry Lead and successfully supports clients in aspects including assessing and developing strategies on environmental compliance, ESG and sustainability in value chain management, mergers and acquisitions, divestment programmes and environmental operations.
