Regina Brayboy is a Senior Fellow and Healthcare Forum Leader, Human Capital at The Conference Board. She leads Performance Centered Consulting LLC, a practice that focuses on aligning human capital and social sector investments to maximize individual, strategic, and organizational performance. She focuses on creating healthy, engaged workplaces where employees thrive and livable communities where businesses desire to locate and participate in their growth.
She facilitates the development of partnerships between corporations, nonprofits, philanthropic, and public sector entities to advance the health, wellness, and economic vitality of employees and their surrounding communities. Her multisectoral professional experience includes holding leadership positions in nonprofits, maritime, public broadcasting, and health care. She has served on numerous boards and commissions and has been appointed by three governors for board service. In addition to leading a community-based coalition, Healthy Suffolk, she currently serves on the Board of Visitors for Christopher Newport University, on the statewide Partnering for a Healthy Virginia Advisory Committee, on the Truist Bank Community Advisory Committee, as a trustee for Riverside Health System, and as a member of the Southeast Regional Advisory Board for the Virginia Foundation for Healthy Youth. She served two terms on the Virginia Board of Accountancy.
She is the coauthor of an executive action report from The Conference Board, “Second Acts in Prime Time: Helping Employees Transition to Post-Retirement Careers.” She has also published in the NonProfit Quarterly: “Overcooked and Underserved: Sustainability in a World of Fast Food Philanthropy.”
She has an MBA from the College of William & Mary; an MPA from Old Dominion University; and a BS in Business Administration from Christopher Newport University.
