Renu is responsible for the continuous improvement of our Benefits framework and strategy. She is tasked to develop personalized and engaging rewards programs to facilitate team member health and welfare offerings and support a positive team member experience.

Prior to joining Tyson Foods, Renu was Vice President of Benefits & Well-Being at McKesson, a fortune 6 pharmaceutical organization. In that capacity, she led the Benefits function for the North America during a transformational time and stood up onsite COVID vaccination education and clinics at 96 distribution centers across the US.  Renu also spearheaded the first social determinants of health pilot programs to help frontline workers with health and financial literacy. Prior to that role, Renu ran total rewards strategic consulting for large hospital systems nationally at Lockton. Renu spent 8 years running benefits for large organizations including CBRE, Comerica Bank and Tenet Healthcare. In addition, Renu was an actuarial consultant at WTW and designed benefit strategies for multinational companies including American Airlines, Halliburton, ExxonMobil and JCPenney.

Renu grew up in Rowlett, Texas as a second generation Indian American. Renu earned her Actuarial Mathematics degree at the University of Texas at Austin and MBA from The University of Texas at Arlington. She holds a global benefits management certification and obtains multiple actuarial exams.
