Rita Meyerson, EdD, is a Principal Researcher in the Human Capital Center, where she researches and generates insights for Members across all facets of human capital management. Her research focuses on navigating the emerging work of work, including culture, leadership, total rewards, and well-being.

Rita is an experienced management consultant, researcher, and educator with deep expertise in organizational strategy, culture and change management. Prior to joining The Conference Board, Rita consulted across industries and geographies to Fortune 100 companies and PE-funded start-up enterprises. Previously, she was a director in corporate communications and human resources at American Express. Earlier in her career, Rita was a change management consultant at Accenture and Willis Towers Watson.

Rita holds an EdD in human and organizational learning from The George Washington University, an MA in industrial/organizational psychology from New York University, and a BA in the biological basis of behavior from the University of Pennsylvania. She also holds a professional coaching certification from the International Coaching Federation. Rita also serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Columbia University Social-Organizational Psychology Master’s Program at Teachers College and is an Advisory Board Member of the World Institute for Action Learning.
