Having come from the consulting practice where he spent 12 years serving clients – Bob now serves as the Chief Data Officer for KPMG’s Advisory Practice helping the firm’s Advisory Teams integrate a data driven approach into their services and offerings. Rather than focus on infrastructure, Bob’s remit includes deepening our data and insights driven culture, democratizing the use of KPMG data assets in order to help our people innovate and drive more value for our clients with data. His specific organizational scope includes:

  • Global ESG Data Strategy and Operations
  • Internal D&A Strategy for US Advisory
  • D&A, AI Literacy Program
  • KPMG Data Citizens with Purpose – Using D&A to help nonprofits, NGOs address strategic challenges
  • KPMG Hackathons – helping develop insights in topics our people care deeply about

  • Data Concierge Function – helping connect our people to our data assets
  • Benchmarking - developing insights to help drive change
  • Signals – Leveraging vast data from our environment to help predict change
  • Integrated Data Platform and Storefront to more seamlessly leverage KPMG Data Assets (public and paid data)

So far in 2021 - Bob’s team has helped upskill over 10,000 people last year, driven over 200 use cases leveraging data assets and helped generate over 30,000 hours of D&A driven pro bono community impact in the communities we serve across the US.
