As a member of the Health Care Innovation Team, Rowana leads data science initiatives to drive innovative solutions that can improve health care quality and equity in the U.S. She collaborates closely with research partners to evaluate the causal impact of pilot programs and find meaningful opportunities to improve health outcomes using a data-driven approach.

Rowana has built deep analytics experience during her prior roles at Healthfirst, Accenture, and Humanyze, an organizational health startup. She has led data teams through navigating complex systems, and she has partnered with engineering and product teams to build data infrastructures that enable stakeholders to find actionable insight from their data.

Rowana received a Master of Health Data Science degree from Harvard University’s T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She also received a master’s and bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
