Sally Saba, MD, MBA, is the first Global Chief Inclusion and Diversity Officer (CIDO) at Medtronic, and President of the Medtronic Foundation.

In this dual role, Sally is responsible for delivering on the vision for Medtronic to be recognized as the global inclusion, diversity, and equity leader in healthcare, and to improve the lives of underserved populations around the world through financial investments, skills-based volunteerism, and strategic initiatives.

Prior to joining Medtronic, Sally served as Vice President of Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity at Kaiser Permanente Health Plan and Hospitals in Oakland, California. In her role, Sally defined the inclusion, diversity, and equity strategy for the largest non-profit integrated healthcare system in America.

Sally holds a Doctor of Medicine and Surgery from Cairo University; a Master of Business Administration in International Business from ESLSCA Business School in Paris, France; and executive leadership certificates from both Harvard Business School and Cornell University. She was named one of the 2022 “Top 100 Diversity Officers in Healthcare” by DiversityFirst.

Sally lives in Minnesota and is a mother of two children.
