Sam Arriozola is a dedicated Program Coordinator and Mentor at Girls Inc. of New York City. With nearly a decade of experience in the nonprofit sector, Sam has consistently demonstrated her commitment to inspiring young women through education, leadership, and community engagement.

Originally from the Chicagoland area, Sam earned her B.A. in English-Creative Writing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a distinguished member of the 8th Cohort of First Wave, a hip-hop and urban arts full-tuition scholarship program. This unique program integrates arts, academics, and activism, laying a strong foundation for Sam’s future endeavors in youth development.

At Girls Inc. of New York City, Sam leads the Teen Leadership Circles (TLC) Program, a leadership-centered program, inspiring students to develop their own Girls Inc. clubs with confidence and purpose within their schools. Under her guidance, students like Malika have blossomed into confident leaders, ready to make significant contributions to her
community.

Sam's work is driven by a heart-forward approach, ensuring that every interaction is meaningful and impactful. She is passionate about creating inclusive, pro-girl spaces that inspire girls to be strong, smart, and bold.

Sam is committed to continuing her advocacy for youth support and looks forward to furthering the mission of Girls Inc. while helping to build the new generation of leaders.
