The Conference Board
Sam Charlton is Managing Director, Asia, at The Conference Board. He is responsible for growing and engaging our membership across the Asia Pacific region. His role covers strategic and operational management, product and program innovation, external engagement and increasing the prominence of The Conference Board in Asia.
Before joining The Conference Board, Sam was with The Economist Group for over a decade. He was previously based in Tokyo, Japan and held various leadership positions, including head of sales for the Economist Intelligence Unit’s (EIU) membership-based corporate advisory service in Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
He earned a BA Honors in Modern Chinese Studies at University of Leeds and completed a Global Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management at The University of Southern California’s Marshall School. He also received a Graduate Certificate in Global Executive Management with Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
