As a Managing Director at ZRG Consulting, within the Business Acceleration Practice,  Sam works closely with CEOs and their leadership teams to drive organizational transformation. Since joining ZRG in 2014, he has led projects for clients such as Express Scripts, Prime Therapeutics, T-Mobile, USA Rare Earth, and General Dynamics. Sam specializes in aligning leadership teams, developing talent, and accelerating business results.

Sam is often asked to partner with executives to align their teams around a strategy. He finds helping these leaders cascade that strategy and activate their organization to execute against it to be the most engaging and reward of his efforts. While every team and organization is unique, Sam applies trusted processes to accelerate strategy execution and transformation. He has led multiple Business Acceleration Team processes that engage a critical mass of leaders in cross-functional projects with structured support and coaching. These initiatives produce significant ROIs (often exceeding 10%) and valuable insights into enterprise talent landscapes. In 2024, he received the ZRG Consulting Solution’s Rising Star Award for his innovative approach to client solutions.

Prior to Brimstone, Sam developed strategies for Mercy Corps and the Organization of Youth Empowerment in Honduras and interned with The Cohen Group in Washington, DC. His international experiences span Honduras, the UAE, India, and Kyrgyzstan.

Sam holds an MA in Policy and International Affairs from the University of Maine and a BA in International Affairs from The George Washington University.
