Sanjay has recently joined Valley as Chief Data & Analytics Officer. In this role, Sanjay will develop the bank’s data strategy and data management capabilities, including enterprise data architecture, data platforms and services, data governance, data risk and data literacy. He will also focus on building a data-driven culture to drive business outcomes, by developing actionable insights and delivering advanced analytical solutions across the bank. Prior to joining Valley, Sanjay was the Head of Data & Analytics for Santander Bank NA, where he built robust data pipelines and business intelligence to provide deep insights and metrics and delivered advanced analytics to inform business strategy across all products and functions. He evolved the Bank’s data and analytics maturity, partnering with Technology, Marketing and Digital to improve marketing efficiency and to personalize customer experiences. Prior to Santander, Sanjay held several analytics leadership roles at KeyBank and GE Capital / Synchrony Financial, building data-analytics capabilities and a strong data-driven culture to enable business outcomes across a broad range of strategic priorities.
