Sanjida is a proud alumna of Girls Inc. of New York City, where she is part of the Project Accelerate cohort, a groundbreaking venture that partners with Equality Can’t Wait to ensure that workplace equality is achieved not over centuries but now. The initiative seeks to accelerate women’s pathways into leadership roles through college and career support. Through this program, she is receiving invaluable mentorship, and personalized guidance equipping her with the tools to navigate her future.

Currently a sophomore in the CUNY University system at Hunter College, Sanjida is pursuing a degree in environmental science and considering a minor in economics. With her education she intends to become a part of an inclusive workforce, committed towards public welfare and the betterment of the environment and ecosystems around her.
