Saroja Raj leads the development and the implementation of Lockheed Martin Corporation’s demand and supply side energy management program towards meeting the corporation’s greenhouse gas and environmental emissions reduction goals.  She reports into Environment, Safety, Health, and Sustainability organization.  Her primary responsibility includes development of corporate wide targets, strategies and tactical plan to drive implementation of energy and water efficiency programs throughout Lockheed Martin. 

Saroja leads and chairs Lockheed Martin’s corporate-wide the Energy Working Group towards full engagement on energy efficiency, business case analysis of projects, integration of sustained energy management practices in business operations towards realizing aggressive emissions reduction targets.  She spearheaded the corporation’s effort on creating a green building policy.  In her role Saroja is responsible for conducting feasibility analysis of infrastructure, renewable and alternative energy projects.

She currently leads a team of Lockheed Martin Engineers to conduct Structured Improvement Activities (SIA’s) for the largest sites in the enterprise. 

Saroja holds a B.S in Biological Sciences and a M.S in Education from California State University, a Master’s in Public Health from Tulane University and a joint MBA from University of California Berkeley and Columbia University.  Saroja has been with Lockheed Martin for 25 years in various roles.
