Sebastian Barnes is a Head of Division in the Economics Department of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), overseeing the OECD’s economic analysis of a number of countries including the United States, China, Italy and Poland. He is a former Counsellor to the OECD Chief Economist and headed the OECD’s Euro Area desk. He began his career at the Bank of England and was Chair of the Irish Fiscal Advisory Council.
